Nebula is the 70% mohair 30% silk lace-weight yarn from bleu poussière that will provide a dreamy halo to your knits and yet also give them structure, from the silk in the blend. Nebula can be worked alone with bigger needles for an ethereal fabric, or stranded with another yarn for color play and texture delight. In the words of Shani: We most enjoy it paired with a rustic yarn for a one of kind knitted fabric and a sfumato feel reminiscent of the old paintings of Italian masters.
Nebula is hand dyed by Shani of bleu poussière using only natural dyes. The dye matter used is indicated in parenthesis in the colourway name.
As with any hand dyed yarn, we suggest you purchase enough for your project.
