Shepherd's Hill Farm
Shepherd's Hill Farm is a sheep farm near Campbellford, Ontario owned by Shepherdess, Grace Clare. Grace’s flock is composed of Border Leicester, Blue Face Leicester crosses, Romneys and Romney Corriedale crosses.
The fibre from Grace's flock processed at Wellington Fibres in Elora, Ontario. Each skein of yarn can be traced back to an individual sheep (and hence the name of each base is named after the sheep whose fleece the yarn was spun from!). You really cannot get any more "farm yarn" than that.
Some of the bases are blends of wool/mohair or wool/alpaca, and Grace sources the alpaca and mohair from nearby farms.
We have a very limited quantity of Grace's lovely squishy yarn.
