Making Magazine - No.4 - Lines
Making is a bi-annual knitting publication from Carrie Bostick Hoge of Madder fame. As Carrie describes in the first issue, Making is an attempt to slow things down with thoughtful handwork.
Each issue of Making explores different themes and Issue 3 explores Lines - rural and urban - as the inspiration for making. This issue contains beautiful knitwear and crochet designs, as well tutorials for a whole cloth quilt, visible mending and the sweetest cat ornament. Lines also has a recipe for Sweet Carrot Scones which I can personally attest are delicious!
Lines includes knit designs by Susan B. Anderson, Leila Raabe, Tin Can Knits, Bristol Ivy, Kirsten Johnstone, Andrea Mowry, Mary Jane Mucklestone, Beatrice Perron Dahlen, Rachel Coopey, Norah Gaughan, Carrie Bostick Hoge, and Michele Wang.
Other contributions from Catherine Satchell, Elizabeth Miller, Monica Johnson, Emily C. Wolfe, San Ishida, Kristine Vejar, Samantha Hoyt Lindgren, Felicia Semple, Trey Hughes, Jessica Lewis Stevens, Amber Platzer Corcoran, Farzana Raqib, Jenny Gordy, Cal Patch, Erika Barratt, and Emma Lockwood.
